Before I purchased my first pair of Skecher sandals about one year ago, I wore nothing but Birkenstock sandals, which go for about $120. The Skecher sandals retail for about $25 to $45 depending on the time of the year and where you buy them. The particular pair of sandals that I am referring to is, the men’s Tantric, Seal Beach. These sandals by far have Birkenstock sandals beat. They are more affordable and are just as or more comfortable, but if you still want to pay over $100 for sandals try the, Shape-Ups XT – Cadence. I have owned my pair of sandals for one year now and they look and feel almost brand new. The soft fabric strap lining prevents blistering in between your big toe and the toe next to it, plus the padded toe post adds extra cushion to the toes for comfort. The tracking on the sandals works great and they can help you stop on a dime and prevent slips and falls. Here is one other thing that Birkenstock doesn’t have shock absorbing ability, thanks to the cushioned / contoured foam footbed and lightweight foam middle you will not experience foot pain when you are wearing the sandals.
The only thing that I would like to see Skechers improve is to offer these sandals in different colors. As of now the only color you can purchase the sandals in is brown but they would look great in black or possibly even a tan color. In my opinion by giving people more choice the odds of selling more sandals would increase. Other than that these sandals are awesome I wear them all summer long, and since I live in a state where we have warm weather year-round I wear them every chance I get.
For my money these are the best sandals on the market. Compare for yourself, you can pay either $120 or about one fifth of that and get a better fitting and much more comfortable pair of sandals. When it comes to sandals there are hundreds of sandals to choose from but none compare to the Skechers Tantric – Seal Beach sandals. These sandals can be use for more than just going to the beach. I use them to go to the grocery store, the mall and even to throw the football around with my son. I even bought him a pair to wear on the car ride to and from his football games and practice. Who could have imagined what a little innovation, leather, padding and rubber can do for a pair of sandals.
